Annual ornamental plant 70-100 cm high. Blooms in June-July for a month. The flowers are densely double, of various colors, large (10-15 cm in diameter). It is cold-resistant, photophilous, undemanding to the soil, but does not like heavy, waterlogged soils.
Grown by direct sowing in the ground in spring. Seedlings appear after 8-12 days, they are thinned out at a distance of 15-20 cm. Sowing can be carried out at several times with an interval of 2 weeks to obtain flowering plants until autumn.
